No one knows exactly how paracetamol (4-acetamidophenol) works, but scientists think that it works mainly in the central nervous system (the brain and the spine). 5. What Happens If I Miss A Dose?
Since paracetamol is often used only when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. If you are using the medication regularly, use the missed dose as soon as you remember.
